Our keypads for mobile phones are renowned for their design appeal and processing technologies, which enable them to be tailored flexibly to sophisticated design requirements. As such, Shin-Etsu Polymer is the industry leader, with a 25% share of the global market. In addition to domestic mobile phone manufacturers, we are expanding our business with prominent overseas companies, such as Nokia, Motorola, and Sony Ericsson, and around 70% of our keypads are produced overseas. Demand is increasing for automobile-use keypads from the perspectives of maneuverability and safety. 		Inter-Connectors : Connector Division Shin-Etsu Polymer's inter-connectors are widely used in LCDs. In other applications, we are focusing on connectors for digital cameras and other electronic devices, which are becoming thinner and more compact. Going forward, we will strengthen our ability to promote new products using advanced materials, processing, and evaluation technologies. These products include mounting connectors for semiconductors, view control films, flexible printed circuits (FPCs), and thin-substrate mounting carrier plates.
